OverLeX Desktop is a free Windows app. The production installer sets up the app, adds shortcuts, and supports normal uninstall through Windows settings.

OverLeX Setup

Recommended for most Windows users. The installer installs OverLeX Desktop, adds shortcuts, and supports standard uninstall through Windows settings.

Version 1.2.0: complete Ukrainian, English, and German localization; updated licensing, statistics, reports, Focus mode, and OverLeX AI dialogs.

Portable ZIP

No installation required: unpack the ZIP into a folder and run OverLeX.exe. Useful for quick testing or moving the app to another PC.

The portable build also includes two free starter micro packages.

How to install the APK

  1. Download the APK only from the official OverLeX.eu website.
  2. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, temporarily allow unknown-app installation for your browser or file manager.
  3. Confirm installation. Future OverLeX updates must be signed with the same official key.
  4. After installation, you may disable the unknown-app installation permission again.

OverLeX Desktop Installer

Run the installer, choose the installation folder and wait until setup is complete. After installation, OverLeX can be started from the shortcut or the Windows menu.

Windows SmartScreen may show a warning about an unknown publisher. This is expected until a code signing certificate is added.

First launch

  1. Download the OverLeX Portable ZIP archive.
  2. Extract it to a convenient folder.
  3. Run OverLeX.exe.
  4. The app already includes two starter free packages, so you can test learning immediately.
  5. Additional packages can be downloaded from the catalog and imported with + Import .langpack.

.langpackx packages and License ID

  • Free packages open without License ID, internet connection or device limit.
  • Licensed packages require a License ID and the e-mail used during purchase.
  • The License ID is shown after successful purchase and sent by e-mail.

System requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
  • Minimum: 8 GB RAM, SSD or HDD, 1–2 GB free disk space.
  • Recommended: 16 GB RAM or more, SSD, 3–5 GB free disk space.
  • For large 200–500 word packages, it is recommended to have 1–2 GB of free RAM before import or activation.
