Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data may be used by OverLeX Desktop, the OverLeX website, and the licensing server.

Local Desktop data

  • application settings;
  • learner profiles, progress, and statistics;
  • imported word packages;
  • local license state and device_id.

Learning progress is stored locally on the user’s device.

Licensing data

To activate licensed packages, OverLeX may send the License ID, purchase e-mail, device_id, device name, app version, platform, and requested products to the licensing server.

This is required to verify purchases, enforce device limits, process refunds/revocations, and issue a protected access token.

Payments and e-mail

Card or PayPal account data is not processed directly by OverLeX Desktop. Payments are handled by external providers such as PayPal, Lemon Squeezy, or Gumroad. A License ID may be sent to the e-mail address used during purchase.

Free packages

Free .langpackx packages using the free-key do not require a License ID, e-mail, or server activation.

Support

For license questions, wrong e-mail, device resets, or licensing data requests, contact support@overlex.eu.

Before full production sales in the EU, this text should be reviewed by a legal professional.
